About Me

As a former corporate and residential Interior Designer who once lived in a small condo in the big city I have always found and could store almost everything I ever needed.

I've since moved onto a 41' Catamaran and face many new challenges. Among these challenges, how to provision, how to organize, what items can stand up to an environment in constant motion, surrounded by water and salt, useful and compact enough to justify having it, and where can I find reviews about items that are cruiser friendly.

Most of the boating sites I've found talk extensively about the equipment, maintenance and other salty sailor stuff. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading about AIS's and watermakers. But there's more to living aboard than boat systems, there's the Living Systems.

I've found little to no sites devoted to reviews for a savvy shopper searching for products to enhance cruising life on boats or RVs. Notions that get left behind when we leave our land fixed abodes, such as lighting, galley equipment, storage and the like. This site is devoted to those very notions that keep our abodes cozy, efficient, and much more.

Friends, this blog is in it's infancy. It will go through many growing phases as I continue to educate myself in professional blogging. My goal is to grow this blog into a community for women cruisers, both land and sea. A forum where women like me can come to for guidance, share what we've learned, our challenges, our hopes and joys. I hope you will follow the blog as it and the community grows. Please send your suggestions and feedback and link to this blog through your social networks.
